LISD Schools Closed February 2nd-5th, 2023 LISD parents, staff, and community: Lexington ISD schools will be closed on Friday and Monday (Feb. 2-5) due to an outbreak of flu, strep, and related illnesses that have resulted in very low student and staff attendance over the past 2 weeks. We are hopeful that these 4 days will stem the spread and allow time for many to recover. Classrooms and common areas are being disinfected frequently and they will be disinfected again during the closure. School will resume with a normal schedule on Tuesday, Feb. 6. We appreciate your support and apologize for any inconvenience.
