Lexington ISD Winter Weather Statement

Lexington ISD Parents and Community:

 

With the approaching winter weather event, LISD officials will continue to closely monitor the local forecast over the next few days to determine if changes to our normal schedule will be necessary. Any school closure or delayed start announcement for Monday will likely be made by early Sunday afternoon. We want to allow enough time for parents and district employees to plan accordingly. At the same time, we will gather as much information as possible and try not to announce too early. 

 

As always, we will take every precaution in the interest of safety for our students, employees, and parents.
