LISD Staff, Parents and Community,
After such a crazy week of unexpected weather issues, we are so excited to get our students back on campus. Fortunately, the City of Lexington did not experience the water and electrical issues that many experienced in our district. The school had one leak at the elementary campus that is now repaired and ready for use. We will work with our insurance company on repairs for some damage to our elementary cafeteria floor as a result of the leak. However, due to the response and hard work of our maintenance team, the leak and the mess it created was repaired and cleaned quickly. I have received questions about water availability, and a boil ban. Lexington ISD is not under any boil requirements, or experiencing any water concerns at this time. We will proceed as normal tomorrow!
We will run our normal school hours this week, and we can't wait to see the smiling faces of our staff and our students first thing on Monday! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the campus offices.
